0Can siblings be in the same band without tearing each other's hair out?

Oasis isn't the only band wherein sibling rivalry runs rampant. Back in the '60s, The Kinks' Dave and Ray Davies were the prototype for Oasis, it seemed. Like Noel, Ray was "the chief" - he wrote, produced and sang the songs, while Dave the guitarist was, well, the guitarist. And yes, reports stated that the brothers often came to blows with each other.
When the '70s rolled around though, brotherly love seemed to be the order of the day. The Bee Gees' Robin, Maurice and Barry Gibb were tighter than their harmonies, and Mark and David Knopfler were apparently best mates during the early years of Dire Straits. (David left in 1980.)
The '90s saw the brothers Hanson and The Moffats proving that brothers could actually rock together. Probably because, like the brothers Gibb, they sang in harmonies.
And what of the new millennium? Well, 30 Seconds To Mars' Shannon and Jared Leto; and Tokio Hotel's Tom and Bill Kaulitz; are still fairly chummy as both bands are still riding the wave of success. But as Noel Gallagher would say, give 'em time and we'll see.
