IN TOWN to perform at Singfest, German pop rock band Tokio Hotel raved about the warm reception they got from Singapore fans.
This marks the band's second visit, after its first showcase here during the Audi Fashion Festival in April. Vocalist Bill Kaulitz mused that meeting Singapore fans was a "magic moment" because of the emotions they expressed, and that they were very energetic despite the warm and humid weather here.
The band, which also comprise Bill's guitarist twin brother Tom, drummer Gustav Schafer and bassist Georg Listing, also shed light on how they cope with bad press, why they don't Twitter, and who has a girlfriend now.
Tom and Bill also showed their close bond and admitted that they once had the same girlfriend.
