Twins Has Smarts.

Youth Prize for Distance Learning 2009 goes to Tokio Hotel Twins

Hamburg (ots) - Famous prize-winners at this year's DistancE-Learning Study Prize 2009: Tom and Bill Kaulitz will be featured alongside seven other outstanding distance learning graduates.

The DistancE-Learning study prize will be awarded this year for the 24th time to distance study graduates, to people that stand out with their personal success with distance education or distance study for the particular potential of the flexible learning method. The study prize winners are selected by an independent jury of the DistancE-Learning Association Forum.

The decision now made, all nine prize-winners will be presented to the public shortly. But two of them are already famous before the ceremony, and not long kept secret: the twins Bill and Tom Kaulitz (both 19) of Tokio Hotel will be recognized with the Youth Prize 2009 for their exemplary achievements, in addition to their career for distance education on the Web Individual School for their secondary school preparation.

The DistancE-Learning Study Prize 2009 will be given out on April 27, 2009 in the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF) in Berlin by the Parliamentary State Secretary Andreas Storm - unfortunately in the absence of the two Kaulitz Brothers, who during this time are on a promotion tour for their new Tokio Hotel album.
