Bill: (Our fans are) really energetic and powerful everywhere.

DJ: So despite Tokio Hotel being powered by these two brothers really, so I wanted to ask about Oasis, on how the brothers had recently split up. And would this ever happen with Tokio Hotel?
Bill: No, I don't think so, I think never because of tom and me because we are like very close. You know, we are like identical twins. So I think that makes definitely the difference because we are not only brothers... we are very very close it's like it's more than soul mates, something you can't describe, you know, we don't have to talk to each other and we are like one person and we dream the same things.

DJ: They have an album in stores now called Humanoid, and the lead song from it is Automatic. So we wanted to find out about this track.
Bill: Automatic is one of the last songs we wrote for the record and it was definitely the song and the style we were missing on the record so far and it's definitely one of our favorite songs. It's about a girl which has no real feelings and she's like very cold, like a robot and that's why we came up with the idea for the video.
And we shot the video in South Africa which was really cool and it was really an adventure; we were there for like 5 days and it was a very hot video shoot - *Tom butts in* Safari tour - and yeah it's really cool so we really really really love the song and I think its a really good song to listen to.

From what we gathered, it was recorded in the morning. We think it's a phone interview but hopefully 98.7FM airs it again so we can confirm it.

ReplyDeleteI don't know...But I've listened to this station before and ALL their DJs are super rude.
They always say bad things about the artists and even their listeners, and they are totally biased...=.=
That part whr the DJ makes fun of Bill's accent was really disrespectful and I hope Bill & Tom won't hate Singapore for it...=x

i didnt like how she said "oh, we'll find another band the" after bill was talking about TH never splitting up. :(

@LadyVamps it was the female DJ. I didn't really find her words appropriate either, or how they were pretty much laughing the whole thing off.
