They're Coming Back!

Hey guys!
Can't believe it's been more than a year since the last Tokio Hotel appearance in Japan. Our first post of 2013 brings good excellent news from the BTK App -

Pretty self-explanatory!
We're sad to see the App go, but when one door closes, another opens. We're very much excited to see Tokio Hotel take on more social media presence (Instagram, nonetheless!). And, of course, news of the new single.

XOXO

Announcements; Tokio Hotel in June

A/N: Hey guys, so sorry the blog hasn't been updated much. Since TH are still working on their album, there hasn't been much news yet except for old interviews or pictures from past photo shoots. Nevertheless, we've updated whatever we could find (smaller updates can be found on our twitter). The major news/reminder: Tokio Hotel will be making 2 appearances in June.

1) 3rd June - RUSSIA
Tokio Hotel will perform at the MUZ TV Annual National Music Awards Ceremony!
We will definitely update the blog if a livestream is available, but keep checking back here (and especially at our twitter)!

2) 25th June - JAPAN
The boys will perform at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan Awards!
Remember to vote for them for BEST ROCK VIDEO!

April of Asia 2011 - Details up!

Dear fans,

We’re just a few days away from April, which means that it’s been almost a year since Tokio Hotel made their first official appearance in Asia. Their presence here brought about a lot of chaos and happy memories, some of which will probably stay with us for the rest of our lives. Most importantly, we've all made awesome fan-friends who shared these experiences with us.

So now, we’re bringing you an event whereby all of us can gather together and spend the day just enjoying and celebrating the month of April. We’re gonna have food, activities and, of course, good music ;) you won’t want to miss this!

In addition to this meetup, we'll also be selling some TH mugs and THSG shirts (available for preorder):

Brief design of front and back of THSG shirt

The shirts will be sold at S$15 and we'll update on the price of the mugs very soon.

When evening approaches, we’ll be holding an auction over A1-sized Tokio Hotel posters. 80% of the profits made from these sales will go to the Singapore Red Cross Society as we’re also organizing this event in hopes of supporting Japan through this difficult time. (We have written a post about it here.)

We're aiming to make the 13th April deadline, hence we've decided to hold the event on Saturday, 9th April from 4pm to 11pm. So do consider attending and supporting us! :)

Details:

Tickets to this event will be sold at S$10 until 2nd April. After that we're selling at S$15 until April 8th.
To purchase a ticket, just email us at admin.tokiohotelsg@gmail.com with the subject heading: April of Asia 2011

Please include your name, age, phone number and whether you're interested in pre-odering a shirt - in the email so we can reply with your ticket and additional details, such as the exact location of the meetup. We will also arrange for a size chart to be emailed over.

Also! Please note that this ticket does not entitle to a plus one, and we cannot accept ticket returns.
Our event will be held at Goldkist Beach Resort at East Coast Parkway:

We sincerely hope that you guys will join and support us for this first ever official gathering. Our previous plans for a meetup had to be postponed when Tokio Hotel suddenly announced that they were coming for SINGfest (not that we're complaining ;)). Do help us spread the word to others - tweet it, link it, facebook it and gather more Tokio Hotel fans to attend this event!

If you have any questions regarding the meetup, just email us, tweet us or comment in this post and we'll get back to you as soon as possible!

Announcement: Closing Forum

A/N: Hey guys, not sure if you've noticed some of the changes we've made regarding our fanclub, but the major thing is that we have created a new Facebook group that's synced with our twitter and blog. News and updates about the band will be more easily accessible from now on, so we're really pleased about this.

As such, we've decided to close our current forum since we're already utilizing Facebook and the fan chat on our blog. We're sorry if any inconvenience is caused.

If you have a Facebook account, do join the party over there! We'd love to have you!

Love Unleashed Project

A/N: Hey guys!
So we received an email from the Love Unleashed Crew a few days ago and we've been requested to send this message out to you. A team of fans have started a fan action for Tom and Bill's 21st birthday and this support will be helping the Valley Animal Center in California, USA.

We can assure you that this is a legit cause (all payments will go to the shelter) and you can get more information at their site here.
Of course - we won't force you to make donations but we do ask that you take the time to read the rest of the email and maybe browse around their site before you make any decisions. :)

Here's the message:

Hey Singaporean Tokio Hotel fans,

I'm Feuer, and I'm a Love Unleashed Crew Member from Singapore.

At this point here, you might be wondering what Love Unleashed is.
Love Unleashed is a worldwide fan action to create a meaningful and lasting 21st birthday gift for Bill and Tom!
We fans don't want to be part of the crowd who is going to give Bill and Tom regular ol' birthday gifts such as Skittles and gummibears do we?
Well, this is YOUR chance to stand out!

Thank You! project

Hey guys!

It's been 2 weeks since Tokio Hotel came to Singapore (!!!!!!) and I just want to thank all of you who were present there on the 28th... for behaving yourselves (until they came, of course ;)) and cooperating with us when we asked. It made everything much easier and we all managed to get a good glimpse of the boys... some of us even got autographs! Wow.

Those of you online - thank you for being supportive fans and being happy for those who managed to see the boys. We're really grateful for that.

We know how last-minute it was and no one (not even us) expected them to be there that day. We didn't expect them to come to Singapore until next year for an Asian promo or something but hey - it happened! They came here, they met fans, signed our stuff and even let us in for a private showcase. THEY LIKE LOVE OUR COUNTRY AND WANT TO COME BACK.

How awesome is that?

This wouldn't have been possible without the help of companies involved (Audi, Tag Heuer, Dsquared etc)  and we thought it'd be a great idea if we could do a little something to show our appreciation to them. A video.

Here's what you have to do: send us a short clip of yourself saying 'thank you!' to Audi, Tag Heuer, Dsquared, for inviting Tokio Hotel to Singapore; Universal, for getting us the chance to watch the showcase; Radio 913 for granting us promoting platform when they came to Singapore. You can also add in a message you want to tell the companies or the boys themselves and we'll edit them into the video. :)

Send your video to our email at admin.tokiohotelsg@gmail.com and let us handle the rest.
Please title the email "THANK YOU!" and include your name so we can add it in. The deadline for this project (for now) is 29th May 2010.

We'd really appreciate it if you could participate in this project with us since these are the people who brought our beloved boys to Singapore, shown them how awesome this freakin' humid weather is, how loved they are by local fans; now that they're hooked on our country, they intend to return again. Those of us who haven't had that chance to see them will get that chance really soon. :)

If there are any concerns/questions about this project please comment in the box below, email us or tweet us at @tokiohotelsg!

Thank you!

MEETUP: Tokio Hotel Tribute Video

Okay guys, so Boy Thunder and Adam of Radio 91.3 wanna meet up with us TH fans so we can create a tribute video for the band together, and also to pass gifts to the boys if we want to. The video will be shown to the boys when the DJs interview them in KL.

We're planning to meet up at Braddell MRT station at 2.30-3PM and walk to the SPH building together OR you can just meet us there on your own. The exact timing would be 3.30PM (27th April, TUESDAY).

Address:
Singapore Press Holdings LtdAddress:
1000 Toa Payoh North 318994

So bring your gifts, bring your friends (BT's hoping for about 50 people?), bring your enthusiasm so we can show the boys how much Singapore loves TH! RSVP to this so we know briefly who's coming! :)
Drop us an email at admin.tokiohotelsg@gmail.com with the subject "I'M COMING" (or something less suggestive, idk) along with your cell phone number so we can contact you?

You can also tweet us @tokiohotelsg or just comment below!

We hope to see you there!

ETA:
If you're meeting us at Braddell MRT Station, please... linger (?) around the ticketing station.
There is no dress code so wear whatever you want and be sure to look good ;)

Picture Mosaic for TH

So, Boy Thunder of 91.3FM has tweeted us and said that we can ask him to pass gifts/letters/etc to the band on 1st May before he departs to Malaysia. Once he gives us his flight details, we can work it out and you can go see him on your own.

But as a street team, we were thinking of a collaborative gift for the boys: a picture mosaic, *something* like the one for the FAA campaign or CoC!

So if you want to participate, please send us a photo of you!

It can be a photo of you holding TH stuff, doing peace signs, beaming really wide... anything, really. We're okay with it as long as we can see your face. :)
The photo has to be 500 px by 500 px in size, and please title your photo with "ZOMG ME".

Please email it to us at admin.tokiohotelsg@gmail.com before 23rd April (NEXT FRIDAY) 11:59PM, 24th April (Saturday).

About Malaysia's Concert

TH's Malaysian concert is free but we have to win tickets to go. Sources are saying that potential goers have to sign up for TM's telephone/internet lines to get a free pass. Basically, this means that anyone outside of Malaysia cannot get a pass.

As much as we would've loved to buy the tickets, this isn't going to work out. :(
We'll update with more news when/if we have it. Let's not lose hope yet. We still need to hear from TH's camp to confirm that they're going to Malaysia in the first place.

Right now we're thinking of ways to convince Singapore's radio stations or Universal Singapore themselves to get the boys to come down to Singapore after they're done with the Malaysian concert.

So far our goal is to get WBMW to top the charts in the radio stations to show that TH is getting popular in SG and that they're wanted here. WBMW is rising steadily up the 913 Hot 30 Countdown and the DJ seems to like them so it may be possible to persuade them to do it. We could email Universal Singapore or Radio 913 our requests. Not saying it'll work, but it's worth trying. If you guys have any suggestions please comment! If a bunch of us do it together, it may make a difference.

Also, we can keep a lookout on certain websites about the concert.

You guys are awesome!

World Behind My Wall is now #28 on 91.3FM's Hot 30 Chart! Boy Thunder mentioned that some Tokio Hotel fans tweeted him about this song... and after he put it on his Hot and Fresh list, there were a lot of votes coming in. This makes us extremely proud and thank you for the mass voting! If we keep it up we'll hit the Top 5 mark sooner or later.

Lately, the boys have expressed interest in coming to Asia. We know that they're eyeing Tokyo but we're wondering if they could find a little time to drop by Singapore as well ;)

Radio exposure is important right now so it's great that we're starting to create awareness among radio listeners! The more popular this song gets = the more popular Tokio Hotel gets = more chances of the boys being invited to come to Singapore.

That's what we're hoping for, anyway. We're jumping at any opportunity to promote the boys and we hope you'll help us!
