TOKIO HOTEL. Like we'd expect it to be otherwise

Here's their incredibly sweet acceptance video:

Bill: Thank you so much! I think everyone knows what that means, that EMAs are very very huge. And we are so proud we have another award, that's so cool. We can't be here tonight because we're in the studio right now in Los Angeles, but we wanna thank everyone from the MTV World Stage who has made that a concert so special and we wanna thank everyone at home who voted for us like crazy. I don't know guys how you do it, but it's incredible. Thank you so much! And for the other bands who were in nominee with us, we are sorry: our fans are the best in the world.
Thank you so much and have a wonderful night!

Tom: Thank you.

MTV EMAs will premiere on MTV Asia today at 7pm (WIB), 8pm (SG/HK/PH), 9pm (MAL).

Wet and Wild at The World Stage

The mood of 15,000 fans was upbeat even as the rain continued to pour during the MTV World Stage Live 2010 show. Indeed, it seemed that nothing was going to take away the excitement of the day: people had line up outside Sunway Lagoon as early as noon when the concert doors only opened at four!
By Kelvin Goh Wong

Organised by Hong Leong and XPax fans were treated to the music of popular acts such as local favourite Bunkface, the oh-so-hot Wonder Girls, German glam-rock sensation Tokio Hotel, and last but definitely not least, the very sexy Katy Perry.

Taking their sound overseas, the members of Tokio Hotel were among the participants in the MTV World Stage Live In Malaysia music event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Saturday (July 31).

With Bill Kaulitz, Tom Kaulitz, Gustav Schaefer and Georg Listing all on-hand at the Sunway Lagoon Resort Surf Beach venue, the quartet took part in a press conference before taking the stage for a smokin' set including Noise, Automatic, Dogs Unleashed and Forever Now.

Neither the damp nor interminable delays and glitches could spoil the brilliance of the artistes’ performance at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2010

THE SECOND installment of the MTV World Stage which took place last Saturday was one of the most anticipated music events of the year.
After the success of last year’s concert, fans were looking forward to seeing international acts like K-Pop darlings The Wonder Girls, German punk-rockers Tokio Hotel and quirky Katy Perry, as well as local rock band Bunkface.

The event at the Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach saw fans already lining up at the entrance hours before the start at 6pm. Just before the gates were about to open, the sky opened up drenching everyone.

We’ve discovered first hand from the MTV World Stage show that loving Tokio Hotel is ‘Automatic’. This post is dedicated to all the hardcore fans that eat, sleep and breathe Tokio Hotel. The quartet kick-started their set with ‘Noise’ and the crowd went wild even in the relentless drizzle. Songs in their set included ‘Zoom Into Me’, ‘Dogs Unleashed’, ‘Human Connect to Human’ and several others. Watch the special video clip we made with a mix of their songs for the evening.
Of course the show did not end with their known hits like ‘Automatic’, ‘World Behind My Wall’, ‘Monsoon’ and their new number ‘Dark Side of the Sun’.
Are you ready to feast your eyes on some TH shots? They are mostly of Bill Kaulitz:

The MTV World Stage press conference was the ultimate chance to get up-close and personal with Katy Perry, Tokio Hotel, The Wonder Girls and Bunkface. It’s so obvious that the stars were all pumped up for the show that night. Katy Perry revealed who she would like to collaborate with in Asia, Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel shared some style stories, The Wonder Girls taught us the famous ‘Nobody’ dance and Bunkface talked about what inspires their songs. Check out the vids and pics inside...

What Happens When Bill Kaulitz's Jacket Comes Off

Tokio Hotel performed at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia on Saturday night, and frontman Bill Kaulitz hit the stage wearing one of his costumes from the band's Humanoid Tour, which concluded earlier this year. The whole look was designed by Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2, and Kaulitz called it "fantastic" in a backstage interview after the show. And it was pretty fantastic.

The StarTwo: Made for a Riot

Bill's photo caption: After a rocking concert in Malaysia in May, Bill Kaulitz of Tokio Hotel will again hit the stage here with more wacky hairstyles next month.

Another round of Tokio Hotel plus Katy Perry and Wonder Girls for MTV World Stage next month.

Tokio Hotel again, you ask? You bet. The German glam rock act, which played a promo show in Malaysia early last month, returns to town as part of the international music showcase MTV World Stage.

The venue and big date? It’s Sunway Lagoon Resort, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on July 31. Block out the diary.

The excitement is definitely as high as Bill Kaulitz’s mohawk and the teenage riot that trails this rock group for upcoming edition of MTV World Stage here – especially with the addition of super sexy American singer Katy Perry and the steaming hot South Korean girl group Wonder Girls on the bill.
